Madison pate
Madison Pate, a 19-year old author, continues to express her passion for music in her series of fiction novels which were originally inspired by her 8th grade band class. She published her first book at the age of 13 in January 2019 and her second book at the age of 15 in January 2021. Her use of technology and passion for music are combined to produce her action packed series of novels, Brick of Sound.
Throughout her music career Madison has mastered playing the saxophone, flute, and guitar. Madison is a recent graduate from Carrollton High School where she was a member of the Trojan Marching Band and played the Tenor Saxophone. She held the title as a section leader and also was a member of District Honor Band. In fall of 2023, Madison embarked on a new journey at Kennesaw State University where she is a member of the marching, university, and concert bands. In addition to writing books, she has also written musical pieces for both her high school and college which prompted her to major in music composition. She will lead the saxophones in the KSU Marching Band as one of their section leaders in the fall of the 2024-2025 school year.
